Says not. Probably replace Barkley to do the job they thought he would.

Still think Grealish will be off though.
Replacement for Grealish?
Yeah the original article linking Buendia to us said that we wanted to play him alongside Grealish.

I don’t think Jack’s off this summer though — just because the only 2 teams who could afford him this summer are after Kane and don’t really need him as a first team crucial player.
oh and those Arsenal fans on Twitter seem to think he’s gettable at 60 mil is very laughable & predictable

He certainly isn't going to Arsenal that's for sure.

40m for someone who had good numbers in the Championship isn't worth it, I know he had good stats during his first stint in the Prem but none of the big lads took notice of him first time around.

Does FFP not apply to Villa like? Seem to spend about £100 million every summer and never sell anyone.

@visitingholte

All the promoted sides come up with a low wage bill and immediately get a huge boost with the tv money and commercial opportunities befitting top level sides.

They will have more room to increase wage bill and spend on transfers than teams who are full of high wage players that have spend alot of money on transfer fees.

Wijnaldum is exactly the kind of signing I'd expect Koeman to make. Decent player if you're going to use him for the specific things he's good at which I'm sure Koeman hasn't planned for.

Yeah, we really lowered our wage bill and when we came up i think it was 3rd lowest so it gave us some flexibility. And our owners are pretty wealthy as well and just have been putting in close to the maximum amount each year -- they've also heavily invested in our youth facilities and teams as well
