First time you've bought a RB since you come up isn't it?
It seems like it. We signed Wardy in 2012, the season before we came up and Wan Bissaka came through the academy. Nathaniel Clyne was signed as emergency cover when Wardy was out through injury and they seem to alternate for the role, usually because one or other of them is injured. He is our only RB signing since 2012 and he wasn't exactly planned.

Don’t forget Ferguson who basically doesn’t exist.

Of course! I feel for him. He has had more setbacks than I can remember for about 20 minutes of first team football. Another young Championship prospect at a good price, (just compo). You can’t win them all.

Ok he gets to move home but this feels like a similar to mistake to when he joined City. He's gone a step too far up too soon imo given he was not even a starter for boro until December. Ramsey, Diaby and Bailey in his position.

They must be treading closer to the FFP line now too. Unless they've a sale lined up.
