Ossie's Op On Hold....

I think he is underrated, you only have to spend 2 minutes on Toffeeweb to see that people still can't accept him, they can't look past his lack of strength to see that he is a very good footballer.

He's underrated by everyone outside of Everton aswell, the nicest thing I think anyones ever said about him is he's tidy.

Like Joe Cole, Osman is a very rare English footballer. He's all about skill, technique and movement. He'd benefit England alot but they will continue to overlook him and go for bigger more powerful athletes. There loss our gain really.

You could count me in that group until last year.

I always banged on Osman for getting pushed off the ball too easily but over time, he's learned to get rid of the ball a bit faster as well as to improve his first touch away from pressure.

In addition, he's really come on in the scoring department. His all round game has improved immensely. So even though I'd still like to see him bulk up just a bit so that he can hold opposing players off a bit more while looking for options, I'm officially sold on Ossy.
