Player Valuation: Free Transfer
Loses possession, falls over, poor assist record, slow as a wet weekend and not many goals.

Simply not good enough for a team with top 4 or 5 ambitions.

Discuss.

Decent squad player. Always gives it his all. Plays well and helps us get 3pts against bad teams which defo makes him useful and he provides depth. We can't finish 4th if we can't finish off the bottom 10 (see Villa). Not an ideal starter against the top 4-6 though. Remember he wouldn't be starting if we didn't have 9 billion injuries.

Sticky subject.

Of course we want better players, and Osman would be a weaker link in our armory, but battlin' Ossie epitomises our team spirit. Constantly told he was too small, not good enough, and he stuck at it.

I'd like to hear players opinions about him, that's usually the best indicator into what he provides for the team, barring a bad performance.

Ossie is a true blue and will give his all for the cause, but he lacks pace and tires quickly, would do very well in a slower paced game.If Moyes buys somebody in his place ossie will revert to a 15 miniute bench player.

Very talanted central midfield player who on form shouts for an England place and is one of the best in the league.

Poor right winger/right midfielder.

End. Of.

Ok fair enough, but we don't need someone who only perform in alternate season.

Hes also played out of position all/majority of this season too...has played through injuries.

Not saying he's amazing (although he has spells of being quality). But if the feller plays in his main position, is 100% fit, he's a great addition to the squad. Especailly in Europe, he's the kind of player that suite Europe big time.

Too small and too lightweight to play in the middle, especially against the bigger stronger midfield players the top 4 have so he can only really get a place on the right. But he has absolutely stunk this season, lost his sparkle and doesn't seen to want to run at defenders like he did last season, ideally a squad a player and no more

He is light weight but he's played all of last season in the middle with Arteta on the right. He likes the ball at his feet and have the freedom to move about.

He's not a winger, he has less space and freedom to move and when he has to cut inside its on his left foot. He's knocked off the ball easily when that happens. When he has played well from the right is always when he's pushed in centrally.

Maybe he doesnt perform well against top 4 sides, but you can argue that case for other players - Arteta, Yak, Pienaar. And he's played in the team when we've beaten the RS and Arsenal the previous seasons.

He's having a poor season, yes. But that doesnt mean we should get rid.

He can't play on the right or left. And we have far better players in the middle, so put him on the bench or sell him. Yes he puts the efford in, and occassionally has a good game (normally against a relegation team) but out of our 1st team id say he is the weaker link.

He may not be at his best at the moment, but he still works his ass off for us and always has. And let's not be too disrespectful to a player who has been tremendous for us for many years. As Joe Royle would say, he's very honest.
