If you're seeing the above message, it's because something on your device is blocking our ad servers. It's been tested extensively. This message only shows if there's something on a device that is working to circumvent our ads.

"I don't have adblock"

Some devices/browsers block by default now. Please check.

"I've disabled/excluded adblock"

Please double check. There's also some extensions/browser settings that aren't named 'Adblock' which block scripts. Ghostery, uBlock Origin etc.

Thanks to everyone who helps us by disabling adblock.

In case anyone else runs into this, the extension I have to disable to stop that pop up is this one ....

Been using it for ages without a problem, must be some auto update that's kicked in ?

It does it all the time on my iPhone.

I don’t have any ad block stuff going on.

I only noticed a pattern of it showing when the site is likely to be busy like a new signing or something when I’ve been in a thread then reopen safari and the page reloads.

Apologies just read the small print, I’m getting the oops thing but it doesn’t mention Adblock. Sorry guys.

It wont be on permanently for this reason, I turn it on every once in a while in the hope to encourage/prompt a few to disable adblock for us. A lot of people say they don't know they have it.

@GrandOldTeam hey, I think this is the one.

Only seems to pop up when I’ve been on the site then just closed safari, then later reopen safari and let the page reload itself. Possibly been between WiFi and 4G whilst not using my phone.

I tap the X and all is well, so no major issue, I just said I’d let you know if it pops up again.

I still think the site structure is ace for such a big community. Keep up the good work mate. :)

Me again.

At home on WiFi, reading Wikipedia (honest). Decided to browse GOT. I typed in the site name in the address bar which picked up the auto fill for safari on my iPhone and I hit go.

Got the oops message, but this time mentions security. Not sure if any of this helps to be fair.
