One too many sequels

Currently watching Rock IV ... which in my opinion is ace but how many other film franchises milked succes for all it was to the detriment of the original ??? Fast and furious comes to mind... think there’s about 7 now... the Godfather 1 and 2 are modern day classics .. but 3 ... Jesus Christ. Surely there are more out there who’ve milked it.

Die hard …...greatest action movie
Die harder ...….very good sequel to the first
Die hard with a vengeance ….. fun movie which personally I enjoyed
Live free or die hard ….. over the top digital effects

Pixar usually makes excellent films. Cars was a weak effort but still decent. Why on Earth they made two sequels to one of their worst movies is beyond me. The sequels are terrible.
