Duncan, a costly mistake? He gave kids who never saw the good times some belief, he was and still is their, and MY hero!

that article is plain sensationalist. Throw in som big number salaries and transfers and a low goal return from players who we all know weren't the cpmplete article and that is the total sum of this story. We all know Dunc wasn't a goal machine but he gave a threat that feared defenders and allowed others to prosper. There are many worse buys out there than the big man. Lazy journalism.

We knew what we were buying that 2nd time around. Terrible injury record but when he was fit there was no team who didn't fear him. Plus the fact the 8m from the barcodes will have paid a considerable amount of his wages so all in all he wasn't really expensive

For the record, Dunc was/is a total legend, he made countless blues believe again, yes he was injury prone and yes you could say he was a thug, but he was our thug.

he got our tattoo on his arm. he married a Scouser. he referred to Everton as "us" even as a Newcastle player. We gave him a chance when the sfa turned their back, we supported him when he was in prison, in return he gave us his love, and his best. He gave us hope, a hero, a belief! He's not just an ex player, he's an Evertonian and he's my hero. Love you Duncan!
