I'd play Ross right or put both behind a single striker, who has to be Rooney at this point. He and Siggy are COMPLETELY different players. Siggy can push farther up, Ross loves to get the ball deep, hold on to it FOREVER, whereas Siggy is pure one-touch, fast movement. They'd work well together honestly. Put guys around them willing to make runs and be active - probably play more of a wing on Baines side as he won't go forward - one of Vlasic, Lookman, Mirallas - and put someone who is a bit more willing to play inside and let Jonjoe make runs wide right - Vlasic, Davies, put one of Gana/Morgan as a number 6, and let them go.

Klassen.

The lad is quality , everything we need in a number 10. He can't do anything sat on his arse at home when he isn't getting picked most games. Can't adapt to the league if he isn't getting a run in the team.

I'd like to see Sigurdsson (or even Klaassen) given a bit of a run at it. I know he's not exactly lit the place up but, in his defence, Sigurdsson is a player low on confidence playing in a team low on confidence; he also didn't have the best pre-season build up, which hasn't helped him. Unfortunately it's a bit of a catch 22. Both players need more game time to get up to speed and build confidence, but both players are in such bad form at the moment that it seem risky given the situation we are in.

What happened to all the deliberation of where Ross belongs on the field? All of a sudden he's a true number 10 again?

Siggy belongs in the number 10 role. The key is he belongs in the ONLY number 10 role. He hasn't been given many chances in that.
