I was actually rooting for them in that one just because, even though I dislike LFC intensely, they were still the English club and you have to be adult about these things.

My Kopite mate actually bought me a pint when we beat Man United in the semi's in 2009 as well, so they're not all bad

Had that a few years ago in Australia. Perth were playing Wollongong in the final, Perth went 3-0 up by half time, Wollongong scored 3 in the second half and the penalty shoot out finished 8-7.
21 goals all at one end, none at the other. And as it was played on an Aussie rules pitch which is almost 150M long, and with the natural camber of the ground there would be the fans at the far end that wouldn't have been able to see a single goal go in

so i was at a mates house in mossley hill....it was all reds. I was the only blue. Then i had to get the bus home to the pier head...so had to go down smithdown rd with all the kopites running in the road and swinging from lampposts. It was f*cking awful
 
Years ago a Liverpool born kopite working down here asked if I would like to read his paper,(the scum). I picked up his lighter and set fire to his paper while he was still reading it. I got done for it at work, and was transfered to another site. Make of it what you will, I was probably out of order, but they do say the daftest things from time to time.

Mossley Hill's not far from Smithdown Rd why go via the pierhead
 

A conversation i started with my kopite friend, a few weeks back, I was just doing it because i knew eventually he'd say something daft. We were discussing their transfer targets this summer, specifically in defence. I suggested Ashley Williams and Luke Shaw, from Swansea and Southampton respectively.

He replied "we need better"

I asked "Who like?"

"I was thinking Sergio Ramos"

He was deadly serious.
