Was thinking about him as obviously we signed him on a short-term contract was it before the 85 final. But those were the days of only 1 or 2 subs for league games, might have made the bench in a European game in the 80s though.

Nah. Only signed as cover in the week of the cup final in case Mimms got crocked, wasn't on Bench cos Mimms was fit so 'released/sacked/told to jog on and get his hair cut, probably didn't even get a ticket tbh.
