Wonderful park, haunt of my youth



I'm sure I went there for 1st year of my painting and decorating theory apprenticeship .
They cam from the IOM originally I think lived in Manchester emigrated to Australia - the Beatles arrived & the came back & begged Brian Epstein to take them on - which he did the rest was history - not everyone's cup of tea, but such a sad demise health wise ..….December 14th, 1967, the Bee Gees at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral with Dean of Liverpool, Edward Patey on drums;

I agree - they had formed a group in Australia, heard about the Beatles manager & the rest is history - they wrote a few good songs along the way - health wise even their cousin who had a couple of hits dies young in his solo career....….sadly, only one left now but an amazing catalogue of tunes.

It may have been him great early photo of them in their infancy in Liverpool….didn’t know about a cousin, their younger brother, Andy Gibb died aged just 30.
