As zebra crossings and Belisha Beacons came in about 1935, I'd say either side of WW2...maybe very early 50s

Glad you posted that. I see the remanence of those two pier like structures sticking out into the river at low tide and always wondered what they were

I know the framing of this photo looks stretched, but the dimensions of the tower look so much like the Club badge it makes me wonder if this image was used as the basis for the badge.

All these photographs of Netherfield Rd and Everton Brow brings back a lot of happy memories of my childhood

I imagine they do they do for many of us, although for me the pics of Margaret St., the Water Tower, St. Chrysostoms, Grant Gardens and Ogdens are the closest to home. The old streets were so fascinating, and absolutely love the pics of the three -tiered streets.
