Loved the football back then. Warts and all. Loved the kits back then. Never mind those Everton colours(which to me were iconic). Look at the Sheffield Wednesday colours. Just as iconic.
The kits worn back in the day defined clubs.
Today's football is great. But I'm a sucker for the old days. I'll always have a place for the football of the 1960s and 1970s. Great stuff..
And just look at the state of the pitch.......would our modern day stars look good on that sort of surface.
