Where else would it be Eggs?
Could be the Holly Lodge Fields over the road opposite the Station...but I dont remember that white building.
There was a brick changing rooms and a Wooden Tea room /groumdsmans room, that was always warm and smelled of sterrie.
But as far as I know the girls never played there (that said, I have a vague recollection of a Hockey Pitch in one corner up by the Queens Drive exit) the Collegiate school and Old Boys did.

...that’s exactly where I thought, Degsy. As you say, Collegiate OB played there, it was a decent pitch and very close to Bellefield. Very smart in there these days, with astro pitch.

My late father went to that game the third game produced the only 2 goals for us -Boomer Pickering, and Temple.....They were the better team In the replay at Goodison, we hung on for a 0-0 they were an emerging team at the time in the old 2nd division.....

...I remember going to the game at Maine Road, sitting near the front of the big cantelever stand behind the goal. I was only 9. I think that was 0-0, City might have had Harry Dowd in goal and ex-Everton George Heslop playing CH. No penalty shoot-outs in those days.
