Looking at the photo of the escalator in the Main Stand, wasn't there also an elevator to the Upper Balcony? And a prematch warm up 5 a side pitch under the Main Stand?
An age when Everton were true visionaries.

I'd say that I was behind Southalls left ear in the Bullens Road stand that day (If my bearings are right).
I remember the day well and was well disappointed with only minutes to go, I ran out of Gwladys Street................ran in the 3/4 time doors to
Bullens Road Stands just in time to see Alan Shackleton score the equaliser then winner from in the 6 yard box That was Sept. 1959.

Found this picture on a West ham page, 2 of the greatest goalscorers ever, Vic Watson scored 298 goals in 462 games for West Ham and Dixie Dean scored 383 in 433 appearances for Everton.

Couldn't work out where that was at first, because it doesn't look like the Boleyn and obviously isn't Goodison, so looked it up and its at Wolves for the FA Cup Semi.
