Ruins of the Everton toffee shop on Everton Brow c1884. Established by Molly Bushell in 1753 where the famous Everton toffee was first made from which Everton FC take the nickname of the Toffees.
Born in 23 October 1933, Eddie Thomas. The inside-forward’s achievements are sometimes overlooked, but he scored 41 goals in 93 appearances as a Toffeeman, before departing to Blackburn in the 1960 deal that brought Roy Vernon to L4.
