I have two oldish Lawton books - with photos - bottom captioned naming him on the heritage site photo is not a striking image IMO ?
Photos I have posted in the past, posters reckon he is a ringer for George Formby

It may be him younger on a different angle ?

Mike Lyons (he doesn’t like being called Mick) requested this photo be in there because it’s his favourite. - I remeber this well as I was right side on to this brave goal by Mike Lyons diving over Norma Hunter's boot - also Leeds fans passed beforehand stating Dobson was a carthorse - both players were brilliant that game in a Blues win over Leeds -
