John Quinn is a cousin of mine.

John Quinn is a name that won't be familiar to many on this forum, not even to many of the 'older' members who frequent this great thread. He had a long, if unremarkable professional career, the highlight of which was undoubtedly that he played for Sheffield Wednesday against Everton in the 1966 FA cup Final.
Although most here may not remember him, he was a boyhood hero to me. He was my cousin, and I looked up to him and admired him as any 10 year old lad with a relative playing top class football would.
Sadly he passed away yesterday aged 82.
RIP 'The mighty Quinn'
