Still goes a long way to beat Jimi. There is a chord that he plays in that Villanova Junction tune at Woodstock. Its absolutely incredible.

This is where modern cool guitar started. This guy had 2 fingers missing on his fret hand, but no matter. Also check out the violin, sweet as. There is a bit in the opening section when the violinist (Grapelli) just performs some beautiful notes, way ahead of their time these guys.
