Very sad news, seen the boy a few times following Rangers. To think he was doing what he loves, makes you sad. Alot of players tend to be collapsing, more than ever, coincidence or not, i dont know.

Very sad for his family, RIP son.

Absolutely gutted!

He was my favourite player; i couldnt believe it when i was told. He is another Motherwell Legend.

very sorry for his family and friends, a tragedy. were there any warning signs or medical history that indicated there was a possibility that he was unwell?

No, this was actually his most active season since he started his career with us. He was totally injury plagued, his first 4 season with us he lpayed around 150 games; he left to celtic for 4 years he playe about 80 games due to injury and then he went to Wednesday and played something like 7 games in 4 years. In the last 4 years he played more often and this season he started almost every game. No signs of any problems at all.

Old Firm have postponed their match out of respect.

I'm raging, not because the games been cancelled, but the way the Celtic PR machine twists things. Call me a sinic, but no other SPL games have been canclled apart from Motherwell, Celtic didnt give a [Poor language removed] about the lad prior, he's not played their for 8 years, and wasn't a part of the "Celtic Family", they've used this as an excuse, as thier team is depleted, and i find it an absolute disgrace they've done this. Using a dead footballer for their own gains, if anyone knows the Scottish game, they'll understand where i'm coming from.
