Obvious Weakness being targetted

I noticed yesterday that we consistently brought Deulofeu back to defend corners yet left Lukaku on the halfway line. Could someone please have a stab at why this might be?

It baffles me why Barkley comes to defend corners, when it's obvious he can't defend, and as you mention, Lukaku is left on the halfway line.

I think he's one of the best around is old Tone. The title is a code for something I reckon. It's just too deliberate. Like a warning.

You would think they would practise defending corners at training.

I think it was said some where a bit back that corners and set pieces (free Kicks) were not practised.

We defended corners better when Kone was involved in games earlier in the season.

That first goal United scored would never have happened if Kone had been where Naisy was.
