When you discuss Arsenal, or the pundits do, there's one element that is practically always mentioned.....the fact that they try to walk the ball into the net and don't put any crosses into the box, even with such a good header of the ball in Giroud. Today, after watching Everton and specifically Howard, Wenger went totally against his style of play.....there were loads of crosses and corners hit into the 6 yard box when they would normally play a dozen or so intricate passes.

For me it was the most obvious confirmation that the opposition have found our Achilles heel....weak goalkeeping and suspect defending crosses.

West Brom did a number on us, Ings in the derby did the same and last week against United we were ripped apart by crosses.

I'm no expert, but I'd say the back four, and particularly the two centre backs aren't confident in the keeper and it shows.

Have we been well and truly sussed?

Howard has been sussed for a while mate we just let it happen.

I thought you were going to say Galloway at Left Back because he's been specifically targeted every time he's played and even Bobby has been making other selections to help him out.

Sorry, didn't realise this was yet another thread specifically set up to have a go at Tim.

Perhaps the Mods should collect them all up into on big ball of fury aimed a Howard so he can just stand there and miss it?

If you care to read it again it quite clearly says "suspect defending crosses".... That's all of our defence not just the keeper.

I thought they mixed it up really well today. Much more to this Arsenal team than any in the last ten years.

Hope they win nothing though as they're a massive bunch of white Jay Z wannabe Home County jarg Inbetweeners biffs.
Yeah they were good but we missed a trick with them being tired from the munich game.

He's got OCD so will play to a set pattern. Star jumps, diving backwards, standing still for crosses being 3 of his routine traits.
