Ok hypothethicly (even if we dont need one):

We've six million to spend on a striker and it boils down to a choice between:

Nugent or Smith.

Who would you go for?

Gotta say im coming around on the Smith idea.

neither, another striker would be extravagance.

johnson
cahill
vaughan
anichebe
mcfadden
beattie

im struggling to see where another striker is going to fit into that selection also consider that another striker in would have to fit in, would you be happy for moyes to sign someone thats going to be on the bench? who would nugent or smith necessarily displace?

as its an 'either or', i'd say nugent at the moment, at least hes playing which smith isnt, hes younger and isnt some leeds [Poor language removed]-house.

im not sure smith is fully recovered from that bad leg break last year either.

strangley enough, when nugent got the england call, he stopped scoring at championship level.

I would get shut of bt and get someone in with some pace up front.

smith, after wotching nugent in under 21's im really not so sure anymore, least smith is hard working and has European experience

im going to go one further chico, even if we lose one striker (depending on which of course) then i'd say we dont need to replace, and if it frees up substantial wages then all the better.

Johnson, Vaughan, McFadden & Anichebe.

Could be worse like.

A lot worse mate, but if BT does go then bringing in Nugent would be a good move, with all these extra euro games coming up it would allow Moyes to rotate and keep the strikers fit and fresh for what really matters, the Premiership.
