NSA And GCHQ Crack Encryption Codes

They essentially created exploits or back doors into the supposedly secure internet protocols HTTPS, and SSL. Apparently their systems can track and recover data "encrypted" this way almost real-time!

However strong encryption algorithms such as PGP are still prety much safe from "real-time" analysis - although I would hazard a guess that they can capture this form of encrypted data and retrospectively break the cipher, using parallel super-computer capabilities they have installed at Ford Meade.

Yeah but that does't explain how they can de-cypher it. The encryption resides in the mathematics. It is probable that this claim is cobblers.

Get a Linux Distro such as Ubuntu and use it instead of MS Windows.
It's free, considerably more secure through it's 128 bit encryption coding and not a lot of viruses.
Compatible with MS Office too.
I use My Yahoo for my email rather than downloading my mail through the OS app, therefore I have stopped getting spam and crap.

You mean yahoo who acknowledge they share data with the NSA?

Digressing a bit, Lavabit, who I was using as my mail server, closed itself down rather than comply with the nsa a few weeks ago, and I still haven't found a good secure replacement. I've now't to hide like, it's just the principle for me, it's like Royal Mail opening ones letters, or potential intellectual property right theft.
Anyone have any advice on mail servers please??? :)

I know the US government are archiving every tweet ever sent (dunno about txt messages).

Well, to be honest, this is quite a sensible idea. It must keep a few of the most dangerous Red-necks off the streets both in the US and abroad. This really does make the world a safer place..............

All my deleted stuff goes into my e-bin which gets collected every second wednesday by the e-garbo's who then presumably take it to the e-tip. Then it probably digitally degrades over time into e-fill and goes back to being ones and zeros.
