My thoughts have turned to the issue of the new stadium.

As important as the signings are of Lukaku,Barry,Besic,Galloway,Atsu,Eto'o and Henan are the long term future of the club revolves around a new stadium.

To me this is the critical issue for the club above all others. If ever we are going to be able to keep the services of our best young players long term we will have to have the proper facilities.The training ground is in the place, the football stadium isn't.

I know we were told that there would be no further news until later in the year, but I would like some kind of update from the club

It'd be so great if they just get it sorted and come out with "OK, it's on".

Prefer that to monthly updates about nothing much. Have you seen the news about Tottenham's new ground today...that would p155 me right off after thinking it's all done and dusted.

They're always quiet with this kind of talk because they're so scared of saying anything to annoy fans now. It would help if the Council came out with something at the same time, bunch of ----s they usually are.

RS will be starting work next summer on the new main stand to replace the existing one, Anfield road extension to be done the following year. Work to be completed by 2017.

Spurs will be in there new stadium 2018/19 season ( could be facing planning issues though )
