Was it foulds up top? As he's a center back. If so did he get pushed up there because we had no subs left?

I thought it was a lad called A Evans who came on up front and although I wasn't too impressed with this lad he helped Sambou look a lot better and in turn the team. As a loan player up front Sambou was struggling in the first half which meant the ball was continually coming back at us.

Was impressed with Baningime as were the county supporters around me. Tackles, breaks up play and generally finds his man when he plays a pass which was generally a forward one rather than the usual sideways or backwards ones which slow the play down.

Apart from that I thought joensy10's summing up of the game was fairly spot on.

From reports Foulds went from left sided centre back in a three to left back in a four in second half and made a number of good crosses. Certainly Antony Evans came on up front as second striker and apparently made a difference , there's a certain similarity in Foulds and Evans, tall, slim , dark.

Sorry my mistake, I was going on squad numbers which obviously wasn't accurate. must have been Evans, he certainly made a difference supporting Samboa though. there was a lad in the centre of the park, number 37 I think. had a shocker first half but Rhino kept him on and the lad did improve 2nd half.

37 would have been Harry Charsley, blond hair , smallish, one of those players that have been central to the U23 the last two seasons, liked by Unsy , plays many games, a solid player . But hard to see him ever getting near the first team so not sure where his future lies. We now keep these players longer to let them fully develop which is fair enough, but all the time better youngsters are coming up from younger age groups or bought in.
