Good young player, potentially could be very good in the next few years going on to become a great Everton legend....

He is always positive going forward, passes well is reasonably quick & scores goals can only see good things coming from this young lad....

Should get picked for England in the World Cup & will show more improvement for next year....

Everton look after our youngsters as they are a very good bunch.....Holgate,Davies,Lookman & DCL will all show significant improvement next year.....

No, he should be in the squad for sure....

Very few attacking midfield players of this calibre about, would pick him over jack willshire any day of the week....

We got a absolute diamond in Tom Davies one of my favourite Everton players.....

Has no real distinctly outstandingly great physical or technical attributes[/B] - he's not the best passer, not the best at shooting, not too fast or strong, not good in the air, not got the best ball control, and I might be wrong, but I think these attributes are why some of our fans (fairly to an extent) criticise him. Indeed whether or not he can improve these parts of his game may be what ultimately decide his career trajectory.

In my opinion, though, he has what players like Barkley don't have - determination, bravery, snide, and basically courage and confidence to influence the play through hard work, decision making and energy - a mentally strong player. He might not be the superstar individual player that we all want him to be, but he'll always try to have a positive influence, and sometimes that's all it takes to make a difference, especially in the right team.

Shame he couldn't have played a bit more with Barkley as I thought they did quite well together last season, and for me it's especially a shame we couldn't see Davies playing with Rooney and Barkley together...but Barkley chose to leave for Chelsea.

Funnily enough, I'm sure I've Heard or read those same words used to talk about Harry Kane.
