What negatives can we take from anything we have seen/heard recently from the blues?
Well I'm sure Suits will be able to dig something up.
But seriously, this is the best Everton team since 1985/87. I challenge anyone else to prove me wrong, but I don't think it will happen.
We have a defence who are standing firm (Neville instead of Hibbert proving a masterstroke?). We have a keeper who is quality, totally fit to lace Big Nev's boots.
We have midfielders who can pick the ball up and take the piss. My only regret is we never got Fernandes because I think in this side we would be even better. We are not only relying on Arteta, who has not been as effective as usual, but with Piennar, Osman and Cahill all linking up well, and like Arsenal as Horne would put it.
We have strikers who are scoring goals. AJ is coming off the bench and scoring. He is replacing strikers who are also scoring. We have goals coming from midfield and defence. Its looking very good.
We are in a rut, a good rut to be in though.
