i`m a nosey neighbour. i like to keep my eye on stuff going on in the neighbourhood with whos doing what and can i get any benefit from learnings gained. i`ve noticed posters on GOT- far from being `bitter blues` are quite accepting of our neighbours over the park gaining favours off governing bodies like fifa and the fa, so am i the only one to notice this stuff or does the media only report on the red side of things i.e. looking over the back fence today i found that stevie g`s injury is a hot topic and the reds want a load of dosh coz it happened on england duty- on the other hand - felaini got injured for belgium and not a peep about compensation or even outrage that felaini got kept on despite signaling to the belgian bench to sub him after he`d already felt his hamstring go. if we dont moan a bit more we`ll lose our `bitter blues` tag- and nobody wants that.

Leave them to it. Liverpool supporters are the bitterest group of blowhards in professional sport. They have a reputation for it now on both sides of the Atlantic. It's beginning to be a standing joke. I give you the Guardian's Fiver yesterday re Gerrard's injury:

With a relegation six-pointer against West Ham coming up this weekend, his explanation is unlikely to impress Roy Hodgson. With Liverpool supporters as desperate as ever to find somebody … anybody, to blame for their side's woes, the Italian would do well to avoid being seen anywhere along the route of the well-trodden path between the pub angry Liverpool fans are going to be in anyway to the match they were going to anyway at 5.15pm on Saturday afternoon.
