This Monday upcoming Marine Vs. Southport in the Senior Cup Semi final.

£5 adults.

Winner will face Runcorn Linnets who defeated Bootle on Penalties. The game I believe is due to be held at Walton Hall Park.

Seems a bit harsh, you'd think because usually they would be injured during effectively work they couldn't just reduce to SSP. As a player you'd be almost more financially secure being someone who plays 20 minutes at a game to reduce the chances of getting crocked. Make you think twice in a 50/50 at least.

National Non-league day tomorrow, get out and enjoy some decent football and a few pints. I’m making a return trip to Darwen , my two mates haven’t been before, £6 to get in and you get a voucher for a pie and a pint. I might go out and come in again

Non-League Football Day is here!

I’ve just ended up agreeing to an impromptu trip up to Whitby to watch Marine for my 10th away of the season.

Local games in the National League-Northern Prem West, as follows.

Bootle Vs. Colne - NPLW
Prescot Vs. Kidsgrove - NPLW
Runcorn Vs. Clitheroe - NPLW
Skem Utd Vs. Macclesfield - NPLW (believe Skem are playing their home matches at Burscough).

With how tight the table is, a few wins of losses can make a huge difference. Skem currently sit just 4 points off the playoffs so big game for them today, against Macclesfield who can clinch the title in the next couple of games.

AFC Liverpool Vs. Burscough (at Marine)
Litherland REMYCA Vs. Congleton Town

All comfortably midtable there, with exception of Burscough, who need to win, to have any chance of survival, as they are 10 points adrift of FC Isle of Man, with 6 games to go.

Given Gateshead’s lowly position I was surprised as to what a decent side they appear to be. 2-3 did not reflect the score at all. 1-6 would have been a fairer reflection of the game. Aldershot were woeful.

Yeah they have improved the ground considerably over the years. Lost a bit of its charm along the way though.

My dad took me as a kid. Was a 1930s style big non league ground. Only one end is left really as the big open terrace has been resurfaced and improved.
