Bloody Tories, why would we want to encourage companies to move here? Not like they employ people or anything. Bastards.

Monbiot seems to fall into the same linguistic trap Gordon Brown did during the election by suggesting that rebuilding the government is the same as rebuilding the economy.

can I have a tax cut ? before I end up on the dole. It's not like the amount they get off me would make a difference to them, but it certainly would to me.

You are getting a tax ciut in April when your tax allownaces go up by £1000 which is more than Labour did in 5 years of budgets. Howevr the article talks of corporate tax and their are conventions with other countries - double taxation relief. But Bruce is right IMO I have been saying this on here months ago that business tax needs to be cut to tempt business to move back and set up factories thus creating the private jobs that we need.
