An extra 2 days rest (and warmth) for our lot, where as west ham played today and wont be fresh for 28th with only 2 days recovery.

They looked awful today, an injury crippled AJ let them off the hook.

no excuses if we dont take the 3 points.

As i'm expecting us to win, West Ham will be buoyed by their win today, no easy games in this league.

Ian Ross will probably advise West Ham call it off as the Everton Coach will have frozen wheels

Were away, their tails will be up and I'm quite clearly already laying down parameters to cushion my disappointment like you're doing the same to set up an attack on the club again.

There's actually plenty of "excuses" if we don't win.

The most obvious and simple is that 11 VS 11 means any team can win on any given day.

We've had 2 extra days off so we will always everytime 100% guaranteed win? Of course not.

As long as we try our best and maximise our potential to give us the best chance of wining thats all we can do.

Of course if we don't do that and lose its a different story.

They won 3-1 away from home, yeah they must have been shocking.

Hello.

Their fatigue will only come into play if we make it that way. High tempo from the start and get a grip on the game much like we did for the 1st 25 mins versus city. If we give them reason to be bouyant, with a poor slow start, they will take it and the crowd down there will most definately be up for it after their recent results. So its over to the players, either put their tired bodies under pressure early or sit back and be prepared to come home empty handed.

Can we move this in the match thread, i feel sorry for Chico who wrote a wonderful preview bless him
