We can't keep passing on players like these. His age just isn't a valid excuse to shun him from the team.
I don't believe we can say Allardyce is too concerned about age. A couple of times since he arrived we have had 5 u21 players on the pitch. There is an argument he could be doing it to say 'is this all I have' to get more transfer funds.
I don't think so though as he stated he has too many players when all are fully fit.

Will 'flair' players be completely sacrificed in this manager's era? Arguably we played out slickest football when the gaffer had a hospital appointment, I find it insane this lad can't make the matchday squad

It really is insane.....lookman and Vlasic need a serious run of games the second half of the season.....They have the skill, I just think at times they are trying to do to much and impress.

We are stable. We should see them this week, i hope.

Would personally like to see him sent on loan to a lower PL/upper championship side alongside booting Mirallas in Jan and bringing in a Zaha/Mahrez with Lennon/Lookman as back up options out wide.

Players with flair but who cannot defend, are not going to get game time; thanks to the near terminal damage inflicted on the club by the carrot-topped golfing Dutchman.
I would be loath to wily-nily sell all our players who possess ‘x factor’, so perhaps we could loan the likes of Vlacis, Lookman, Sandro etc to other clubs to aid their development.
Thanks to Fat Koeman, Everton is now (and for the foreseeable future), in a backs to the wall battle, season after season, with 14 other clubs to stave off relegation dogfights come April. There is just no place for attacking football; it is waaaay too risky as we might leave a gap at the back and concede. I’d rather draw an awful, turgid hoofball game 0-0 than lose 3-2 or 4-3 in an exciting match with terrific verve and flair and elan and edge of your seat excitement.
Big Sam’s arrival here has been a godsend. We’ll see plenty of 0-0s

You would rather lose 4-3 than draw 0-0?????

I mean im aware of the words you typed, but im assuming your being sarcastic.

I’d take full draws over exciting losses

Just feel like I need to mention that Vlasic is not really a flair player. Seen that mentioned a few times now.

The times he has impressed me are when he has but effort in and managed to barge through opponents through sheer force of will.

He is young and came in from a much lower standard league. There is no major rush with him, most teams do the same with players in his position.
