Here it is :
Derby County manager Nigel Pearson suspended
It follows a meeting between Pearson and Rams owner and chairman Mel Morris at the club's Moor Farm training ground on Monday afternoon.
News of the suspension broke hours before
Derby County's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium tonight.
Derby County have suspended manager Nigel Pearson, who is seen here with another ex-Rams boss, Nigel Clough, before the 1-0 defeat by Burton Albion
Pearson's assistant manager, Chris Powell, will take charge of the team at Cardiff.
Club spokesman Paul Tyrrell said: "Derby County can confirm that manager Nigel Pearson will not be carrying out his duties at tonight's game - at the request of the club.
"Assistant manager Chris Powell will take charge of the team for tonight's Sky Bet Championship match at Cardiff City. The club will make no further comment at this time."
The Rams have made a disappointing start to the 2016-17 campaign. The home defeat by Blackburn Rovers on Saturday sent them into the relegation zone.
They have won only one of their nine league games this season under former Leicester City boss Pearson, who was appointed at the end of May.
Their home form has been particularly disappointing, having failed to win any of their five league games at the iPro Stadium, in which they have scored only one goal.
