Apologies if the subject has been raised previously my thread search brought up 2 old threads that have closed. Seems Liege have finished 14th so his season loan is now over. Any news on our plans for him? He is <21 so could return I think??? Played all but 3 games from my poor research skills and not preferred toward the end. Defensive side of the game questioned. One year left on his contract and to the layman worth bring him back to have a good look at him, then a pre-season before deciding where he is at. Any more knowledgeable folk out there with a summary of his season?

Sometimes a player can have a bad loan spell and come back to the club and do fine. Jonjoe Kenny didn't do great at celtic but then came back to us this season and has been fantastic
Looking forward to having him back, seen enough to see he has talent. I wouldn't judge him by his clubs fortunes, i don't even mind if its an adverse loan for him and hard going, all the better, look at young Flash last season.
Wish he could play this season, we're not blessed with options at full/wingback.

Can't deny it, came back and was almost ever present in the side, even playing out of position and keeping out an 18m full international!
Maybe Gordon's "poor" loan at Preston would have been a better example

Apparently the loan was going well until a couple of months ago rumours came out that we wanted him back in the summer.
Then it seems the media felt that he began putting in less effort in the knowledge that he was coming back.

From what I recall he seemed to love going forward which seems like a good contract to Myko. Good to have options in that position, depending on how we want to set up in a given match.
