Thoughts?

I always liked him. Thought he did well in the 2002 World Cup for England.

Was overshadowed at Man United considering the talent he shared the pitch with.

Everton could certainly do with an in his prime Butt right about now

Great lad proper mancunian as well from Gorton. If jack russels were footballers they would be Nicky Butt
 

Disagree mate but I must say Peter Reid was a top player decent bloke as well by all accounts

I think that on Personal Honours you'll find that Reidy leaves him for dead mate, don't remember Butt getting the plaudits that Reidy did of PFA Player of the year and coming 4th in World Player of the year, you may scoff at 4th but when you look at who he was behind.... Michel Platini, Preben Elkjærand Diego Maradona then I'm sure that you'll agree that even your mighty Eric wouldn't have won that one, whereas Butt wasn't even 4th best at Utd.
It was in the year that we were World Team of the Year btw. as well.
