Nice little read on our great start

Wow, some great facts there, a really interesting piece that.

There's a few beauties in there that I'll roll out in the alehouse later to a few of my rs mates.

Over the last ten years, you could throw a hat over the phrases used to describe David Moyes’ Everton. Synonyms from the same hymn sheet, most words signify hard work and togetherness. Over praising the manager and undermining the players, pundits often ignore the finer strings in the Everton bow. When referring to Everton, people use the underdog and weight punching lines all too readily.

Finally, a (largely) non condescending article.

Only the 2 Manchester sides have picked more points since January. Interesting, who says we cant make champions league! COYB

I don't think it's a "great" start yet. We're only 2 points ahead of recently promoted West Ham United and the 'inferior' West Bromwich Albion.

It's a decent start though considering who we've played, but to lose v West Brom was disappointing and we had enough chances against Newcastle for those two stolen goals not to have mattered.

If we win tomorrow I will be delighted and consider it a good start, as that's a tricky place to go and take all three points from.

Dude we are second in the league so far, how much better do you want the start to be?? it's early doors yes but it's a good start.

I think we're more than capable of continuing this form, though obviously there will be games we don't play well and a bad spell will come. Hopefully we will continue with the habit of beating the teams we should.
