I thought I was over Jaguars jerseys, but I must have one of these.

This is wild and Roger Goodell is a lost man

Whats interesting is the NFLPA is complaining that it does not meet the standards agreed in the CBA and they may seek legal advise. Given that 70% (possibly 80%) of their members are African American and would most likely be against this new rule it will make things interesting.

Hopefully more owners see sense like Johnson.

I'm not really a union advocate, largely because in the US it seems to hold back progress in industries without creating much more wealth for members, but I am all the way in NFLPA's favor on this. Take them down hard, let's see an entire season lost on it*

*2019 please, after the Saints get one more good run

Fixed that for you haha!!

Totally agree on Unions in general also.

For me though a showdown with the NFL and NFLPA was inevitable because the owners have been voting on various rule changes not just this one without including them.

They forget that without the players and their support they don't make billions. This one change may tip it.

Maybe they should stand around and look disinterested - or something else not covered by the ruling

"in my heart I am kneeling" or even do it before and after.
