OMG we actually didn't trade down further and drafted what will be viewed as a reach at RB. This screams to me our #1 priority was a RB and our guy was supposed to be picked about 7-12 places later but we couldn't find someone else looking to move up.

If Penny could regularly make it back to the line of scrimmage with that OL he's a damn good RB.

Getting rid of Tom Cable was step 1 in fixing this problem. For me he was terrible. Step 2 was replacing Jimmy Graham. He was productive...especially in the red zone last season, but we lost our identity adding him. Addition by subtraction.

I am actually liking the way the line is shaping up...at least for running the ball.

All BAP all the time so far for AFC South London. Excellent talent yield from three picks.

Bryan - physical freak, can be coached up, needs to be Calais' valet this year and learn the dark arts from the master.
Chark - big, fast, wasted in LSU's offense - hope he's not wasted here, and that he has the hands to go with the rest of the package.
Harrison - how does this guy fall to pick 93? Devastating second/third level runstopper, amazing big safety yield from a 3rd round pick. Imagine this guy as a special teams specialist this year. *BOOM*
NFLN - "how much talent can you pack into your defense? Nobody wants to go up against this unit on Sunday."

Bryan and Harrison can be leveraged by the talent level around them on D, Chark just needs to get the ball delivered to him. The Norwell pickup this winter made it possible to go BAP after they addressed the needs that were so glaring on the OL.

Oh and SEC, SEC, SEC.

I hope Chark does well for you, I think he’s really good

Unless the Pats or Packers get drawn to play at Wembley - I don’t think I’d ever go to a game there.

It just looks a bit naff.

Now, I’ve been to a game in the states - Patriots @ Dolphins a few years ago and it was just incredible. Can’t see it being replicated over here - ever.

I agree with this sentiment completely. Part of the appeal is seeing a team in it's own stadium, with season ticket holders and it's fanbase.

Those games, while they count, but the Wembley games are just like the Champions Cup games they play in August here in the US, or Thailand or wherever in Asia they are doing them now. It's just not worth it, it's not the same. I'd never go see two UEFA club teams play each other in the states, the atmosphere just looks like trash on TV.

As a Wyoming grad, I'm hoping you don't go that long, and that Josh Allen comes through for the Bills. I have a lot of respect for the Bills' fanbase, dealing with weather, smaller market, etc. In some ways I see parallel with Allen's experience at Wyoming - intensely loyal fanbase willing to deal with all sorts of weather, distance, etc. all for the chance and a hope to see the team do well.

Allen appears to have so much potential - the question is will he work hard enough to deliver, and can the Bills' coaches develop him? He's clearly not a first year starter.

I agree, he can't start year 1, and appreciate your point of view. We'll see. The coaches while they made the playoffs, made some horrible decisions at the QB position.

I live 5 minutes from Jerry World so I went over to the draft today. Loads of kids and randos announcing picks. Two guys on stage trying to keep everyone’s interest with games and contests in between picks no one has ever heard of. Pulled a hamstring running the 40-yard dash at the play area outside and limped back to the car. Good times.

Two things:

1. Were you there for the Shaquem Griffin moment?

2. Soz about your hammy.

Your heart is filled with a hate I can't comprehend if you can't find joy in the man getting picked and him being reunited with his twin brother.

I went to their rival school. Right now it’s just like being an Everton fan dealing with the RS, except somehow even worse than that. Declaring themselves national champions and everyone just kind of going along with it. They can all get in the bin.
