This. Also applies to hitting New Orleans and making the run to Death Valley if you're around in the fall. About the same distance. That would be a prime twofer for entertainment value and most important - FOOD. Always get to the game at least two hours early.

Death Valley will not disappoint you. Ole Miss is quite the show, too, but nobody visits MS except on accident or a Blues history tour.

Wow. Why two hours? I get that there’s a decent atmosphere/entertainment but that seems a while.

Maybe I’m just used to turning up 30 seconds before Z Cars because I can’t bare the sight of them players for any longer than I have to.

Why two hours?

Have you ever had a southern girl ask you if you'd like to play a little cornhole? While drinking?

Know little about NFL but we go to San Diego every year for Christmas and NY
Stay in Seaport.
There is a game there around NY called the Holiday Bowl
Lots of visiting fans and parades and such.
What is it and is it worth trying to get tickets to ??

The holiday Bowl is one of the college bowl games between two better record teams invited to play. It's usually one of the PAC teams against either a big 10 or SEC team.

Its not one of the better known bowl games but can be good.

It's always two decent college teams also so the games are normally good. I was at last years one. The only real issue with the game like it was for the Chargers when they were here is that awful stadium. Qualcomm or SDCCU stadium or whatever name its called now.

I do really want to do a college game or two, it's on the bucket list.

Michigan, Wisconsin and THE Ohio State top the list within the list.

Short window on these for decent weather...unless you enjoy the cold and a lack of girls in skimpy clothes.

We're quite hospitable in the South. Wander around any SEC tailgate, you'll be provided with much food and drink especially with your accent. Let slip that you're trying out various tailgate experiences and the competitive spirit of SEC fans will ensure you are well cared for...

Wow. Why two hours? .

What mezz said and no alcohol allowed in on-campus stadiums. Gotta get a good buzz on to last the whole game...unless you're creative

Hog helmets started showing up on the heads of students at the University of Arkansas Razorback games back in the 1960's. The opaque shell was large enough to accommodate a bottle of liquor, and could be used to bootleg the bottle right under the snouts of stadium security. The bottle goes in the hat. The student tucks the hat under his arm and walks right in the stadium.

Oh, those three are just there because of the stadiums - SEC Country isn't far behind at all. Love to go to Tennessee.

Touchdown trips done a Deep South tour last year that sounded unreal . Some of them even slipped off and went to see EMCC from the the Netflix doc , LSU was the college stadium they got to and numerous NFL games .
