TAEK: The Bills leaked those tweets to endear him to their fanbase.

As a bills fan, I unfortunately made this joke. Hurts much more to see someone from another fanbase to make it, but it is fair.

I hate the pick. Rosen should be a Bill. I'm going to go another 17 years without a playoff game.

Danny Shelton unless the Browns totally ruined him will develop into a dominant DT. You got a 1st rounder in March.

Yeah but our defensive tackle situation was fine considering we already had Malcolm Brown, Trey Flowers and Vincent Valentine to add to Shelton.

Crying out for linebacker next to Hightower. It’s High then a drop off to Kyle Van Noy and then a monumental drop off to the kid from Houston whos name escapes me.

Same.

I enjoy the NFL because its not English. That is kind of the whole point of it. The Americana of it all is a big part of the appeal.

Also I am not just going to jib off my team (The Saints) to support some London based team.

Exactly. I have supported the 49ers since 1984. Part of the appeal of the sport is that it is on the other side of the globe. I have not attended any of the Wembley games but would love to experience it live in the USA.

I was surprised we didn't draft Fitzpatrick last night though protecting Jimmy G is the priority I suppose so welcome McGlinchey :)

As a Wyoming grad, I'm hoping you don't go that long, and that Josh Allen comes through for the Bills. I have a lot of respect for the Bills' fanbase, dealing with weather, smaller market, etc. In some ways I see parallel with Allen's experience at Wyoming - intensely loyal fanbase willing to deal with all sorts of weather, distance, etc. all for the chance and a hope to see the team do well.

Allen appears to have so much potential - the question is will he work hard enough to deliver, and can the Bills' coaches develop him? He's clearly not a first year starter.

How to spin Shad's Wembley buyout?

THIS is how you spin in the new millenium, pilgrim:

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan is buying Wembley Stadium, according to multiple reports. London rumors, future developments in Jacksonville, and more aside — what we’re missing in all this is that Khan just bought his team a summer home while there are four broke ass NFL owners sharing or set to share stadiums by 2020.

Unless the Pats or Packers get drawn to play at Wembley - I don’t think I’d ever go to a game there.

It just looks a bit naff.

Now, I’ve been to a game in the states - Patriots @ Dolphins a few years ago and it was just incredible. Can’t see it being replicated over here - ever.

no it’s not anywhere near as good as a game in the states . I’ve beem to 2 over there and both were blow outs for the colts ( in Jax and NYC v the giants ) but it was a far better experience than The 5 games I’ve been to in London .

But it’s a day out or weekend away doing something a bit different than booing the toffee’s every weekend.

Next time you’re in the States, if you do Orlando again, you should head up the road to Gainesville in the Fall. You won’t be disappointed.

I'm actually going back during Bowl season - was going to get Citrus Bowl tickets (Michigan vs Florida 2016) from StubHub as they were decently cheap but we had other plans.

Patriots played wembley a few years back.
I went to that one.
Doubt they will come back soon though.

This. Also applies to hitting New Orleans and making the run to Death Valley if you're around in the fall. About the same distance. That would be a prime twofer for entertainment value and most important - FOOD. Always get to the game at least two hours early.

Know little about NFL but we go to San Diego every year for Christmas and NY
Stay in Seaport.
There is a game there around NY called the Holiday Bowl
Lots of visiting fans and parades and such.
What is it and is it worth trying to get tickets to ??
