I don't think it will. Of course he'll bring extra revenue through shirt sales, sponsorship and image rights, but will it balance the fee? Doubt it.

Then add his astronomical wages on top of it! Clever accounting will soften the below I presume, however I think this deal is mainly about kudos.

It will add prestige to their club, cement them as one of the 'big clubs' and will edge them closer to fulfilling their dream of being CL winners.

Furthermore, I wouldn't be surprised if there's political overtones behind the deal with Qatar recently becoming pariah by fellow Arab nations.

When you've got a sovereign nation behind you, who are looking at flexing their muscles, then a few hundred million quid is a price worth paying.

Brilliant deal for Barca in my opinion, Neymar is a very good player but I would go out and blow everyone out of the water for Mbappe who is going to be truly one of the world best.
