Next year's captain

Personally because the club seems rotten to the core at the moment, think the clear out is justified, believe we need to bring a captain in

Players at the moment are showing that they are pushing back at the manager, the coaching styles and endorsing the clear divide between the first team and the U23’s, a leader at the club wouldn’t allow that

New manager, established in the premiership, and a leader of a team that would go through brick walls for the club, do we have this here at the moment

I don’t believe so!

K, name your ideal person.

Honestly, it should be Coleman. Not good today but cares more about winning than anyone else on the pitch.

Gylfi. He's by far our best player and whatever manager comes in he will be central to their plans. He should be captain.

Seeing Williams lead the team out yesterday and every time makes me feel physically sick. How dare any manager pick this has-been average defender over Mr Everton in Seamus Coleman. Then to see this coward once again go out of his way to make sure he doesn't have to finish the game, vile individual who should never be in one of our match day squads ever again.

Coleman. That interview after the game summed the man up. Fantastic professional and good leadership qualities.
Would have preferred them to have dragged out our *spits* official captain Williams and asked him to explain his performances this season and why he felt it necessary to elbow the opposition and leave us even further in danger.

People are being a bit harsh on Williams here. The only things he did wrong yesterday were gifting Burnley a goal with his half arsed marking and then converting what should have been a decent opportunity to get an equaliser into a sending off.
