Sigurdsson ground coverage doesn’t really negate Rooney being one of our better players this season does it?

I didn’t even want him back but can acknowledge that
I don’t think Rooney has been. I think he slows everything down and I hate how he swans around the pitch with no positional discipline because he’s Wayne Rooney.

Hate that we’ve taken Man Utd’s problem off their hands.

If we want to be a success next season, he needs to be well away from the squad.

Dunno mate, top goal scorer. A bit more disciplined since playing deeper. Too many stray passes for liking though and can lose his head at times but can also really dictate play from deep.

Sure mate. Really giving his all when he got pissed and got behind the wheel of a car, instead of concentrating on getting his fitness up, wasn’t he?

Also, Sigurdsson has covered more ground than any player in our squad. But that doesn’t fit your narrative being a Rooney fanboy.

I guess by fan boy you mean someone who isn't reasonable enough to consider the other side of the coin.

Yet you're doing the same just the polar opposite by dismissing the good things he's done this season.

Leaders we have are Rooney & Coleman.

Pickford commands respect and could lead but never been a fan of keepers being captain. Walcott and Gylfi stand out as technicians and commitment.

If Jags leaves I can see Rooney club captain and Coleman on field captain when he does not play. Common at several clubs to have a rarely playing club captain, if Jags doesn't leave I would be very surprised if he doesn't remain club captain even if limited game time.

Coleman
Deputy: Niasse

Fans know they care. Makes a huge difference over the average day trader that plays for us.

And Coleman hated Lukaku and that on its own is good enough for me.

And I bet Seamus hated Judas 8 but never told anyone coz he knew he was was one of our own, a scouser who overcame learning a foreign language to play for Everton.

Wow, you're talking loads of bull aren't you haha! What does Sigurdssons ground coverage have to do with anything, want to quote stats, Rooney has scored 10 this year...Niasse 7...so yeh
