If we won the Europa I'd be doing cartwheels down the street. But due to the stupid format where CL teams drop in it's a hard one to do.

Think top four is always the first aim for me. I want us out of the League Cup as early as possible, unless we play a full youth/reserve team in it, then I'd wish them well.
Treats the Europa League teams with zero respect, that rule. Wish they'd get rid.

[QUOTE"Eggs, post: 2752666, member: 16669"]...mmmm, not sure. Think I'd prefer them brought back down to earth and not believing they're one of the elite.[/QUOTE]
In an Ideal world they will finish bottom of the group but the chances are they will get 3rd and come into the Europa. With their history of dodgy officials I would sooner stay well clear of that scenario. I don't care what they do if we can win the Europa. Trophy and CL. All day long thanks :)

I honestly don't think we are in a position to pick a priority.

We can't just pick and choose.

We've not won anything for bloody ages.

I'd be made up with a skanky 1-0 over Coventry in the League Cup final if it meant a trophy of some sort.

All competitions equally important.

I do agree - we need a trophy. Was could also do with CL. Europa League would give us both if we won.

Has to be Europa league

* It's a trophy
* It's a trophy we haven't won before
* Champions League qualification
* European Super Cup a few months after!
* Everton will become more of a known name in Europe winning the Europa league, than winning any domestic cups

@mythbuster

I see your point mate, but I think finishing fourth is a sign that the team is at a certain level. Winning a trophy isn't necessarily proof that we have improved.

The FA Cup is just a personal thing.

Of course I would love to win the EL for both reasons though.

I don't watch football to be the most improved team though, i watch football to see Everton win things. Winning a trophy would feel better than finishing 4th.

Now that winning the EL provides a CL place, that has to be top priority, so long as EL is secured again through the league in case we don't win it.
