Next season and transfer kitty

But as you can see as above everyone is coming up with a different amortization figure.
It’s just math. I buy someone for 20M on a 5 year deal, amortization is 4M a year. Now I’m not sure what amortization conventions we are permitted, but that’s not that complicated. Also don’t think it matters a ton since we aren’t getting Europe.

Regardless, I doubt the kitty transfer will be lower this summer, but we need to move players on for sure.

I would be very surprised if we managed to sell 5 players this summer due to the wages the deadwood are on. Maybe a couple and the rest on loans out, plus a few more loans out. Can only see us buying 1 or 2 players for first team squad, more likely to but for under 23s .

Exactly what i have been explaining, the net, in out isn't reflective of a transfer kitty or revenue the amortization is key and relative to the selling price.

Aye!!! Wages will have gone up this season compared to last season.
When the books come out next year, they will show we paid less in wages than the last year. Simply because we loaned out so many players, and got a portion of their wages off of the books, and sold a couple on high wages like Klaasen and Funes Mori, and got Rooney out. While Bernard is probably on the highest of those that came here, we also loaned out about 15 players, several high earners, meaning partial wages on those players adds up in a hurry. Moving on more players in the summer will drop wages dramatically even after adding in 3-4 high earners.
Our wages are crippling us and we'll find it hard to shift players in the summer. Anyone expecting significant spending in the summer is being wildly optimistic imo.
I think we will find it easier than you think. Some of these players havent played now for almost 2 seasons, and nows the point where they realize their career is rotting on the bench as they collect wages. I think we will easily have 100 million to spend after selling players for at least 60 million for a net spend of 40 million. Despite what Davek would have you believe, we havent had a net spend of less than 35 million but once in the past 5 seasons.

Im excited to see the deadwood leave and then see just what we can do with the money we save. Thrilled to see us spend that cash on more over paid players that will be the new dead wood next season. The potential for miss-management is something I truly look forward to seeing every season. If we get good Im Fing off to West Ham or something! hahaha

I hope you're proved right. I am a bit concerned we're not going to be able to spend enough to make a big difference on the pitch next season.

Think you will find in the next set of accounts in December that wages have gone up. We will have a full season of Walcott and Tosun, plus all the new signings and loan signings.

The likes of Sandro and Williams we will be paying a high portion of their wages still. The majority of loanees will not be on vast wages.

Doucoure for gomes
Wan bissaka for Coleman
Zaha for walcott
Pascal gross for siggurdson
Maguire for keane
Milik for all of the strikers

I just wanna point out that Zaha has scored 1 more goal than Walcott so far this season, thats how utterly rubbish he is.
