Even my RS supporting son in law says Benitez was lucky in the CL final something about an injury substitution that changed the game scraping a draw as a result. Never watched it and never will so I don't know tbh.

But his premiership credentials hang on that draw. Beyond that he is remembered only for turning into a gibbering wreck blustering inanely about SAF and bankrupting LFC, oh yeh and calling us a little club. I just don't see the "great Prem manager" thing.
 
There was an article on the Athletic the other week saying that Arsenal seriously thought about giving Arteta the job before hiring Emery. The only thing that swung it was Arteta’s lack of an established back room staff.

Arteta is basically the new Guardiola, he just hasn’t found his wing man yet. That’s where Tim Cahill comes in...

Steve Bruce is currently giving him a lesson on how to correctly manage a ‘small club’.
