Has Digne really shown that he has the leadership qualities required to be a captain? Great season for us of course and the lad is clearly a player, but being a good player and being someone capable of being a captain are not always linked together

It’s got to be Coleman he is the longest serving player after Baines who is back up. So on the basis that he plays most weeks he has to be made captain. It would be good to see someone like digne be vice captain will give him an even bigger boost and might help us keep him in the next few years. An let’s be honest Coleman isn’t likely to be playing every game where as if fit digne most certainly will

I don't think he has. I more consider him one that could potentially be captain
