Player Valuation: £150m
If you could be guaranteed 7th place in the league for the next five seasons, with no domestic cup wins, but playing a bit better footy and the odd Derby win thrown in, would you accept that?

It could be argued that 7th will get you that in many seasons.

We can't be relying on other teams to win cups/mess up to get into Europe, the past two seasons 7th hasn't been enough, we should be aiming for 5th, and it is achievable with this squad of players.

Due to my fear of a complete implosion at the club due to no investment, I'd have to say I'd take that offer.

As feckin' depressing as it is...

No idea. It would, on the balance of averages, give us european football a couple of times but represents zero notable progress. It's better than going backwards though, which we could easily do if the banks decide to take their money at any point. After the summer we may have a clearer picture of where we're headed.

Pretty much expect a lot of people feel that way too.

It's Hobsons Choice alright. But I'd still decline that offer and hope something changes off the pitch/in the dugout in the next few seasons.

Is it still cool to say Cheese on Toast?? Cos I can't pick between the two...

Would be hoping for better but as a worst case scenario I suppose I would take it - as long as we could manage to beat that lot over the park more often! Wembley is still hurting me like crazy :-(

think we can aim higher than that, you're forgetting (hopefully) how much our youngsters will be developing. Spurs' better players will surely be going soon because they are underachieviing massively with their squad. Chelsea will buy, arsenal are slipping, newcastle had a one season wonder and the red ****e well, they bought for the future and none of their future are all that. We will surely be getting a big investement in the next 5 years from one of our younger starlets, there's nothing wrong with being optimistic but i hope we will at least be putting up a good fight for top 4 within 5 years
