For me at the moment, with the club in limbo financially, with us having no strikers, and missing our big man for the next 2. I am taking these next 4 games as freebies.

Its not important that we beat Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal. Its important that we beat Hull, and Man City, and all those below us.

If we want to be contenders then these are the teams we should be taking points off.

We are not going to be contenders, not yet. We don't have the financial muscle.

If we lose the next 4 games, its not going to have that much of an effect. We need to beat those below us, they are the important games.

I cant see many people being impressed if we lose 12 points and get knocked out the FA Cup, we should be at least thinking about trying to remain undefeated. The teams we are playing are all excellent teams, their league postions this season and recent seasons prove that. But we can take points from all of these games, they aint all that, we are better.

Every game is important, we are capable of beating the likes of Arsenal and maybe even Liverpool.

We didn't have the financial muscle in 04/05 either, we still finished 4th. Arsenal don't look strong, the League is wide open and we have as good a chance as anyone of finishing 4th. Every game is important.

Exactly the RS are due an ass kicking from us
and im convinced Wenger wont want to bring his side to Goodison in a night game in the middle of winter, these are the games that make the football season what it is!

Fair enough. I'm not having a defeatest attitude, I'm just saying for us as a club its more important to beat Hull than Liverpool.

I think were doing well, but were going to come up against opposition that are world class in many areas, we don't even have a senior striker. We have no money, the club is in limbo and we are run by a chairman who hasn't a clue about what we want.

So if were to not win any of the next 4 games, which is more likely than not - and make no mistake about that, then I'm not going to get all het up over it. I would have been more disappointed if we failed to beat Sunderland and Hull. For me those victories are worth just as much as beating Liverpool or Arsenal.

The fact that we have won them we can afford to have a slip up against superior opposition.

I agree with you. Youre just saying you dont expect results against the sky 4 but you do against everyone else.

But Arsenal are very winable especially that Gallas and Silvestri should be out.

I think we'll beat the rs in at least one of the games, maybe in the cup after a replay. I'm convinced we'll beat Arsenal, have a funny feeling we'll actually snot them. as for Utd, should be a close game. not expecting a result there but certainly hoping.

I'm hoping for two wins from the four games. Very achievable I think.

That's not the point of what I was saying though. Yeah we are capable of winning all 4 games. But we won't. Statistics and probability say we won't.

The last time we won at Old Trafford was over 15 years ago. Can't remember the last win at Anfield. The Arsenal game is one we can probably look to as the easiest game - so I will expect something from that game. As for the other 3, not bothered. Not bothered about the cup, would rather kick on and get back into Europe.

I'm like Ghost I think we will play with no pressure and i think we should be not to judgemental over these next tough fixtures. However, my though is we are becoming a team like our fourth place year and starting to protect our weaknesses. Fellaini and Arteta have to stay were they are on the team and not be moved this above all has started this 6 game run. It's was really good to chalk up another home win for the fans.(y)
